OUR MISSION

The Capitol City Sisters, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is a fully-professed house of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

We are an order of queer Nuns meant to empower our community by spreading Joy and Love in the Sacramento area.

We are dedicated to educating our community on safety & health issues, spiritual, physical, and emotional wellness as well as the abolishment of bigotry and hatred. 

OUR VOWS

Our vows are to spread universal joy and expunge guilt through public manifestation and habitual perpetration.

The Capitol City Sisters strive to tear down walls of injustice and indifference and uphold the right of all people to express their uniqueness and individuality. 

We have a special commitment to those living with HIV/AIDS. We also spend many hours supporting other local organizations that share our vision by assisting with various fundraisers and events.
