OUR MISSION

The Capitol City Sisters, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is a fully-professed house of The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

We are (primarily) an order of queer nuns who have taken vows to promulgate Universal Joy and expiate Stigmatic Guilt.

OUR VOWS

Our vows are to promulgate Universal Joy (aka ‘spread joy’) and expiate Stigmatic Guilt (aka ‘reminding people that they are perfect as they are, regardless of what organized religion, society or others have told them’).

The Capitol City Sisters strive to tear down walls of injustice and indifference and uphold the right of all people to express their uniqueness and individuality. 

We spend great time producing our own events or supporting other local organizations that share our vision by assisting with their various fundraisers and events.
