Rummage Sale for Remission

Novice Rav Morrie Guy Kvell held their Novice project event Rummage Sale for Remission on 3/30/25 and ended up raising almost $1500! 90% of the proceeds will benefit Thriving Pink, a local nonprofit who helps those going through breast cancer treatment.

We ended up elevating Novice Rav Morrie to fully-professed status, cementing their commitment to our Abbey and our communities.

Unfamiliar with the title of Rav? Here is a little info for you:

"Rav" is the Hebrew word for "master". "Rav" can be used as a generic honorific for a teacher or a personal spiritual guide, similar to Rabbi.

At The Capitol City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, you do not have to serve as a Sister/Nun if you feel called to another form of clergy.
